What is FDE?
Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE) is a product-development and delivery mechanism that brings engineering and product judgment into the customer’s real operating environment. A Forward Deployed Engineer defines the problem with users, builds and validates the system, and feeds evidence from actual use back into product development.
